Flowing from the Father’s heart

Seek him, receive from him, give of him, increase in him …. Repeat!

As disciples of Christ and children of the Creator God, having what we need, being blessed and favoured is something we should ask for and expect [Psalm 67:1-2]. Abraham was promised blessing so that he may be a blessing to the nations; to the entire earth. As we receive from God and give of God we increase in our capacity to be generous and receptive; the parable of the talents [Matthew 25:14-30] and minas [Luke 19:12-27].

As we position ourselves with Christ, forsaking all other things, we root deeply into his goodness. We will flourish and be ever blessed, we will stand firm and bear fruit for his kingdom.

What delight comes to those who follow God’s ways!
They won’t walk in step with the wicked,
nor share the sinner’s way,
nor be found sitting in the scorner’s seat.
Their pleasure and passion is remaining true to the Word of “I Am,”
meditating day and night in his true revelation of light.
They will be standing firm like a flourishing tree
planted by God’s design,
deeply rooted by the brooks of bliss,
bearing fruit in every season of their lives.
They are never dry, never fainting,
ever blessed, ever prosperous.

Psalm 1:1-3 The Passion

Our lives are his, all that is provided to us is his. We flow with life and are to flow with God’s goodness and blessing; receive from a loving, generous and abundant Father and give out of a life flowing from the Father’s heart.
