Welcome To TLC
We are delighted that you want to spend a bit of time looking around our church website. We hope that you'll find what you're looking for and begin to understand a bit about what we believe and why we believe God has us here.
In Matthew 23:23, Jesus endorses tithing as a good thing to do. However, the New Testament emphasis is on everything we have belonging to God and the result of grace is a heart that overflows in generous giving.
Giving is meant to be a joyful expression of thanks to God from the heart, and not a legalistic obligation. It is a biblical principal that when we give with generous and thankful hearts, it produces a rich harvest in our lives.
When you participate in giving, you decide in advance to align with God’s plan. God always blesses that kind of faith!
The church functions through the generous giving of others. All the costs both financial and administrative, sow into what God is doing in and through TLC.
Giving is not limited to our finances (which probably makes up only a small part of our giving); it’s a lifestyle. When we live with the spirit of a thankful heart and unconditional giving, when we give the Lord our offerings, when we give to those in need, when we give of our time, our love, our resources, we are sowing seeds that God will make sure blossom into a rich harvest! Not just of financial blessings, but rich in all aspects of life.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved with what TLC is doing; to give of your time and resource. Even if you’ve been coming along for years there is always opportunity. For a list of things that you could give to, click here.
If you would like to give financially there is always opportunity to give in a Sunday service through our donation box, or you can give a regular offering through standing order and gift aid, or a single one-time offering (see below).
We support and run several great causes for the community and it is possible to give directly to them (either one time or standing order). Please visit the Causes we Support pages from the top menu.
Consider gathering together as a family to dedicate what you give in prayer, asking God to accomplish spiritual results, that what is sown in faith will reap a harvest for His kingdom.
