At TLC it is our aim to make space to corporately worship God. We understand the importance of setting aside time to focus our attention on Jesus and invite people into the journey to the heart of God, but we also realise that our relationship with God and worship toward Him is 24/7.

Waiting in the Lord

Listening to the spirit, hearing the word, breaking the silence, and releasing the blessing. As we allow God’s love and glory to invade our lives we will be transformed and changed, and as God transforms us, so we become vessels to transform our local community.

PRAISE

Lifestyle of Worship

God inhabits the praises of His people. We want to enter into to all that God has for us; acknowledge that He is worthy, above all else. In our praise and worship we place the focus on God, humbling ourselves, paving the way for God’s power to be displayed.

PRAYER

Pray without Ceasing

God’s heart for our life and the communities we reach is revealed as we live our lives in tune with the Holy Spirit, as we pray and relate to our Father in heaven; His will be done, His Kingdom come. Ultimately, we want to see God’s Kingdom advance and our communities transformed.

Worship Ministry Leaders

Hi, we are Scott and Zy and we head up the Worship Ministry at TLC under Matt and Cate. Praise and worship has always been a big part of both of our lives and our relationship actually began when we served on a worship team together in 2009.

The music ministry at TLC is not about a platform for performing but is something to enable the people of our church to come to a place where they can have a deep, personal encounter with God. For us worship isn’t just about music in a meeting, but is about praising and thanking God in every aspect of our lives. While we may only be able to help influence how you encounter God on a Sunday morning, it’s our fondest desire that through that encounter your relationship with God will deepen and grow into something that permeates every area of your life.

We both have a real heart to raise up new worship leaders in our church and will do everything we can to develop and equip anyone that has a heart for that area of ministry. If you have any questions about the Worship Ministry at TLC please feel free to come and speak to us. You can normally find us either at the front during a meeting or chasing our daughter Sarai around the coffee area downstairs.
