Here at TLC, we strive to grow in Christ and continually serve the Royston community. We hold a church service every Sunday at 10:30 am and regular Bible study groups during the week.
No matter where you are with God or what season of life you are in, you are welcome here. We hope that you’ll find what you’re looking for and begin to understand a bit about who we are, what we believe and why we believe God has us here.
Our Sunday School meets during the main church service on Sundays. Children are taught Bible stories, Christian beliefs, prayer, crafts, games, videos and values like kindness, honesty, and respect. Lessons often include reading scripture, singing songs, and simple discussions to help children understand and remember what they learn.
These are small groups that meet once a week, typically on a weekday evening. A typical meeting involves some social time connecting with one another; some worship of God; some study of the Bible or what God is saying to us at the moment; some thoughts about how we can be witnesses for Jesus in our every day lives. The Life Groups are a place where you can be yourself; receive support when you are struggling; grow in your relationship with God; be there for others. We currently have two Life Groups meeting in Royston and are connected with one in Buntingford. Get in touch…
Some children thrive on learning, relishing challenges whilst operating with a good level of confidence in their abilities. They may or may not have to work hard to achieve. Others enjoy learning but are uneasy with many of the challenges; their level of confidence wavers. They often have to work very hard to achieve. There are too many children, however, for whom learning is painful; their level of confidence is very poor as they find it hard to understand new concepts and acquire new skills as fast as their peers. They struggle to achieve; some give up trying. First we need to believe that learning and achievement is possible for all children with the right support and encouragement. Children who struggle can make significant progress with the right intervention. The key is to build the children’s confidence in their abilities.

We offer free snacks and drinks as well as lots of fun activities which can Include… crafts, games, table tennis , pool and fuse ball.
We occasionally have events such as seasonal quiz nights or karaoke. We are small team that work together to insure that the teens have a safe, clean, dry space to socialise and have fun. Any questions please do get in touch.
The Alpha Course consists of a series of talks addressing key issues relating to the Christian faith. We adopt a very relaxed atmosphere and start the session with refreshments with food. This gives people a chance to get to know each other and chat about their week. This is followed by a talk, usually on a DVD, that ranges from 30-50 minutes. After the talk there is on oppotunity for a discussion around the topic of the evening, a question time and a forum to express opinions. Listen, learn, discuss and discover; ask anything.
