Overseas Mission

Jesus commands us to “go”. We want to express the heart of God, to reach all peoples and cultures in every place with the Gospel. We believe that our calling is, with others, to bring the Kingdom of God to Royston, our region, our nation and to the ends of the earth. We are aware of the extraordinary opportunity and responsibility that God has placed with us as the body of Christ willing to sacrifice our lives for His purpose. We aim under God to ‘win, train and send’ labourers into the world, pointing the way to the path of salvation, the only hope for mankind.

Overseas

We have a part to play in fulfilling the Great Commission. As individuals we are responsible for listening to God and acting in obedience with His commands, taking His Word and His love to wherever He asks us to go.

At TLC we actively encourage, equip and raise people up to send out on short-term and long-term missions both in this country and overseas. We have many connections with missional projects overseas and often support these with active particpation as well as regular financial support, pastoring, accountability, training and equipping. This is because we believe we can be most effective in taking the good news of Jesus to the world through partnership with others. Our desire is to actively support individuals, churches and mission agencies working in our nation and other nations, where God gives us relational connections.
